How do I add a new item? How does Inventory Ally know I ordered a new product?

New items will automatically appear in your account once your order history is received by Inventory Ally. New items should be counted weekly for up to 12 weeks to establish a pattern of demand.

Since Inventory Ally uses your order history and weekly counts to suggest replenishment recommendations, new items without order history should be counted every week for up to 12 weeks in order to establish a baseline for our calculations. Keep in mind, that initial recommendations are generally low as the order history is new and no count information has been entered to calculate average usage. Over time, the system will dynamically adjust replenishment calculations based on usage.
