Uploading Order History

Learn how to upload your order history from VetCove and other platforms

To unleash the full power of Inventory Ally and benefit from its algorithms and machine-learning capabilities, it's crucial to upload your order history. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process, whether you order from VetCove or another distributor.

Select An Option

I Order From VetCove

Step 1: Download Your Order History from VetCove

  1. Access the VetCove link here OR Visit VetCove and sign into your account

  2. Select "Orders" from the top of the page

  3. In the drop-down box, choose "Order History"

  4. Toggle the selector from Orders to Items

  5. Click the "Export Items" button.

Tip: Ensure that your order history lists by items for successful processing by Inventory Ally. If you encounter issues or need assistance, click the chat button in the lower right-hand corner of the Inventory Ally screen.

Step 2: Return to Inventory Ally

Click on "Upload Order History" or click here.

Step 3: Upload Your .CSV File

Click "Select a File" and select your downloaded order history .CSV file from VetCove.

Inventory Ally will begin to process your information in the background. You may refresh your webpage to check in on the progress. Previously uploaded files will appear at the bottom of the page.


I Order from MWI

Step 1: Connect your MWI Account

Click "MWI" and enter your account details including your Account ID. This will enable the API connection for the automatic upload of your order history each week.

Inventory Ally will begin to process your information in the background. You may refresh your webpage to check in on the progress.


I Order From Somewhere Else

Step 1: Obtain Order History from Your Distributor/Vendor

Obtain your order history by item from your distributor or vendor. Ensure it contains the order listed BY ITEM.

Step 2: Return to Inventory Ally

Click on "Upload Order History" or click here.

Step 3: Choose the Beta Flexible Uploader

  • Click on "Don't Use VetCove?"

  • Select "Try uploading orders with our beta flexible uploader," and a pop-up will appear.

Step 4: Upload Any Supported File

  • You can upload .csv, .tsv, .xls, .xlsx, .xml, .txt files with any column set as long as it has 1 record per row.

  • Match your spreadsheet columns to the right data points in the next step.

  • Clean up or remove any corrupted data before finalizing your report.

Now you can begin enjoying the advantages of Inventory Ally in your practice!
